Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, this L-shaped family pool is 25 meters long with a water depth of 2-6 feet. There is an ADA-accessible ramp that enters the water and a 25-meter lap lane. A separate pool is available for children up to 42 inches tall. The children’s pool has a maximum depth of 2 feet, and there is a misting mushroom, a squirt turtle, fountains and a frog slide.

A 4,539-acre wildlife area, mostly in southern Fauquier County, with opportunities for hunting deer, turkey, small game such as doves, rabbits, quail and squirrels, and several species of ducks. A public sighting-in range off Rogers Ford Road is open Tuesdays through Sundays, Sept. 1-March 31. Fishing is available in a three-acre pond and a six- to seven-mile stretch of the Rappahannock River, a state scenic river also popular for canoeing. A parking area and ramp for small boats and canoes are on the Culpeper side of the Rappahannock at Kelley’s Ford. The area also offers wildlife viewing, hiking and sporting dog trails.
